Conflans (France), 1973.

All the time there are more people who think that if Stéphane Blanquet had not been born, we would have to create him, thus, challenging the God's Laws. If we had done this, we would now have to use more meat bi-products than we could ever afford. Luckily for our neighbours and dogs, he really exists.

His apprenticeship as an ilustrator for Cat Food free magazine, smoothed the way to buying the production rights of a pet-food factory, which soon became his own publishing house, Chacal Puant. With the freedom that state laws on food mass-production grant him, he has always been able to delight us with his disturbed production of infirm stories.

Together with Olive, Blanquet had swallowed our livers like gees with his pensar rich on drawings, esculptures, animations, paintings, cut-outs, mask, puppets… to get a bitter and tasty foie-gras.
